A study on identity and overcoming fears, anxiety and a lack of self confidence. In a world full of unrealistic body expectations, it’s hard to feel confident in one’s own skin. As a woman who is uncomfortable in front of the camera due to feeling like I don’t have those “photogenic features” that are plastered all over magazines and social media, I challenged myself to create non-traditional self portraits in order to get to know myself better and fall in love with one’s self.
